About our Apples

They are famous all over the country… Red, golden, green, juicy and lustrous, Rio Negro apples are already a registered trademark in the world of fruits.

The valley of the Rio Negro is an oasis in the middle of the Patagonian plateau. The geography of the province presents lakes, mountains and forests in the west, coasts and cliffs in the east, with the rest being almost all plain.

Our farm (located in Valle Medio) is an area that changes colors, dying yellows and oranges in autumn, gentle green in summer, browns in winter and pink, white and green in spring when the plants begin to bloom.

Our different varieties allow us to supply several destinations around the world.

Red
Delicious

Exterior:
Deep red to bright red, classic apple shape and sometimes slightly scratched.

Interior:
White flesh, soft texture.

Experiencia:
Red Delicious apples are a classic, with soft sweet flavors and only a few notes of acidity.

Golden
Delicious

Exterior:
Yellow, sometimes with a bright pink color if there are cold nights before harvest.

Interior:
Fine and smooth, with white or cream colored flesh.

Experiencia:
Fine skin, consistently sweet and crunchy, with a silky texture.

Pink Lady
Cripps Pink

Exterior:
Reddened on a yellow background.

Interior:
Creamy white flesh that breaks easily.

Experiencia:
Juicy, and as the name implies, the apples are crispy, with a unique texture that breaks cleanly with every bite.

Granny
Smith

Exterior:
Green with a slight pink blush if cold nights precede harvest

Interior:
Firm, medium-grained, bright white flesh that resists gilding when cut

Experiencia:
Firm with a strong acidity similar to that of a lemon.

Royal
Gala

Exterior:
Generally round, with a pale golden yellow color with red stripes or skin with red tones.

Interior:
Firm and fresh, with a light yellow to cream interior.

Experiencia:
Slightly sweet and similar to vanilla, with a floral aroma.

Harvest

During the harvest we apply all our perfected processes in more than 45 years of experience, optimizing resources, and with responsible care for people and the environment.

Sorting, washing and polishing

In the production facilities, we proceed to the washing, polishing of fruits, for subsequent packing and palletizing.

Packing and palletizing

The apples, once in their packaging, are delivered to the transport, which will begin its journey to the different destinations in which they were marketed.
